Horse II - Hooves

The hooves of modern and pre-horse horses. It's interesting to see the theorized drawings of what eohippus, since it looks quite rodent-like. Like a rabbit or rat, but with horse body proportions.

Kachina I

     Kachina dolls and costumes. The Kachina are the maksed spirits of the Hopi Native American people, representing deities, nature spirits and the deceased. Except for especially old dolls, most of them date from the late 18th century onwards. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Hopi started making them more to appeal to the white man's aesthetic snesibilities (and wallet).
